Cres Island is the largest island in the Adriatic. It is located in the northern part of the Kvarner Bay and it is connected to the island Losinj by a bridge. Cres is the island of contrasts. Martinscica settlement is situated on the gentlest part of Cres coast, with a large bay open to the southwest, with plenty of Mediterranean vegetation.
